A non-transferable license to run Excalibur! II may be obtained by sending
$20 US funds to: Richard L. Chism
6504 Sailing Breeze Trail
Austin, Texas 78744.
Include BBS name, name (handle) you use as sysop, and your address. An order
form (ORDERING.FRM) is included with the demo. The game is ZIPped on a 5.25"
or 3.5" diskette. Excal! will run on any BBS that supports doors, or you can
create a chain file to execute the game and return to the BBS. Excalibur! II
reads WWIV "CHAIN.TXT", or RBBS "DORINFO1.DEF" files. If you run another type
of BBS, you can create a file to pass user info, or send a copy of your stan-
dard door passdown file with data clearly identified and I'll consider adapt-
ing the game to your standard. Excal! II handles its own modem interrupts,
requiring no help from the BBS. An editor is provided to manupulate playing
files, and a mapmaking program makes it simple to create a unique map. Indi-
vidual copies bear the sysop name, BBS name, and a unique serial number. Files
aren't copy protected but have built-in safeguards to discourage piracy. A 40
page Hints & Tips booklet is available for $3 each or ten for $25. Contact
me if you need further info, I'm glad you like the game. HAPPY QUESTING!
